Singapore arrival card: the SGAC, and when to file it
The free online arrival card, the 3-day window, and the acknowledgement to keep on your phone.
By the Local SIM Singapore team, checked October 2, 2026

The short answer
Singapore's arrival card is digital: the SG Arrival Card, SGAC, filed free on ICA's e-Service or in the MyICA Mobile app within the 3 days before you arrive, counting the day of arrival. Every traveller files one, except passengers transiting without clearing immigration and residents entering by land, and it is not a visa.
- SGAC: ICA's e-Service at eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard, or the free MyICA Mobile app.
- Free on both official channels; ICA warns about look-alike sites that charge a fee for the same form.
- File within the 3 days before arrival, the arrival day counted; ICA's example: a 30 June arrival can file from 28 June.
- Every traveller files one, children included; a group submission lets one person file for up to 10 people travelling together.
- Exempt: passengers who transit without clearing immigration, and residents entering through the Woodlands and Tuas land checkpoints.

Good to know (Before you go)
The three days
Filing opens 3 days before the arrival date, the arrival day counted. Doing it at home, on a calm connection, beats doing it in the arrivals hall.
The acknowledgement
ICA emails an acknowledgement to the address you declare. Keep it on the phone, not only in the inbox: it carries the reference number for any update.
After the counter
Visitors no longer get a passport stamp. ICA emails the electronic visit pass, the e-Pass, with the stay granted; keep it until you leave.
The bottom line

Lowest price per day for trips up to 7 days
7 days · 3 GB · US$4.88
The form, the acknowledgement and the e-Pass all live on the phone: keep it charged, and keep a screenshot in case the first connection is slow.

Is there a Singapore arrival card?
Yes, and it is digital: the SG Arrival Card, SGAC, filed free at eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard or in the MyICA Mobile app, within the 3 days before you arrive.
Is the SG Arrival Card free?
Yes. Submission is free on ICA's e-Service and in the MyICA Mobile app, and ICA warns about other sites that charge a fee for the same form. Official ICA addresses contain .ica.gov.sg.
Do children need their own SGAC?
Every traveller files one, children included, and one person can file for a group travelling together through the group submission. ICA's FAQ covers both on the e-Service.
Do I need a Singapore visa, or is the SGAC enough?
The SGAC is not a visa and cannot replace one; whether you need a visa depends on your nationality, checked on ICA's entry requirements pages. Check the rules for your passport before you book.
